AI Transparency Statement
Effective Date: July 22, 2026
BuildSITREP includes an AI assistant named Adam that helps construction teams organize and communicate project information. This page explains what Adam does, what it does not do, and how users remain in control.
1. What Adam Assists With
- Drafting executive summaries and owner-facing narratives from project inputs.
- Suggesting report narratives for schedule, safety, financials, RFIs, and submittals.
- Organizing project information across photos, milestones, meetings, and uploads.
- Summarizing meeting notes, ticket logs, and change management entries.
- Suggesting captions, categories, and section groupings.
2. What Adam Will Not Do
- Adam never approves reports, sends reports, or finalizes deliverables on its own.
- Adam does not make contractual, financial, safety, environmental, or legal decisions.
- Adam does not verify field conditions, quantities, or ticket accuracy.
- Adam does not act autonomously on behalf of a user, company, or owner.
3. User Responsibility
Users remain responsible for reviewing and verifying all project information before a report is issued to an owner, executive, agency, or third party. AI-generated content is a starting point, not a source of truth.
4. Editability and Auditability
- All AI-generated narratives, summaries, and suggestions are fully editable.
- Report edits, uploads, and status changes are recorded so teams can trace revisions.
- Users can remove or replace any AI-generated content before export or sharing.
5. Data Used by Adam
Adam operates on information the user provides inside BuildSITREP — project setup, schedule entries, milestones, uploaded documents, photos and captions, team notes, RFIs, submittals, and meeting notes. Adam does not access data from other workspaces, other companies, or outside the user's authorized project scope.
6. Model Providers
BuildSITREP uses third-party large language model providers through the Lovable AI Gateway to generate suggestions. Prompts and context sent to those providers are limited to what is required to fulfill the requested assistance and are not used by BuildSITREP to train third-party models.
7. Accuracy and Limitations
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. Users should not rely on AI-generated content for regulatory filings, insurance reporting, environmental classification, contractual claims, or any decision that requires professional judgment without independent review.
8. Contact
Questions or concerns about AI use in BuildSITREP can be sent through the Contact / Support page.
