Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: July 22, 2026
BuildSITREP is designed to be usable by construction teams of every ability. We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our accessibility standard across the web application, exported PDFs, and marketing pages.
Design Commitments
- Semantic HTML for headings, landmarks, lists, forms, and tables.
- Text and interactive elements meet minimum color-contrast ratios.
- Full keyboard navigation for editors, dialogs, tabs, and menus.
- Focus outlines are visible and never suppressed.
- Form fields include labels, descriptions, and error messages readable by screen readers.
- Icons carry accessible names when they convey meaning.
- Photos support required captions to provide context.
Known Limitations
- Rich PDF exports may not always be tagged for screen readers; a text-only export path is planned.
- Some third-party integrations (Procore, HaulProof Reports, uploaded PDFs) may not meet the same standards.
- Complex charts include visible labels but are not yet fully described in alternative text.
Reporting an Issue
If any part of BuildSITREP is difficult to use or blocks access to information, please submit a request through the Contact / Support page and describe the issue, the page or feature affected, and any assistive technology in use. We prioritize accessibility fixes.
